Snorkeling masks 2019 – Puluz Freebreath
Full-face snorkel masks are available in all shapes and sizes. This is what the DuikeninBeeld testing team thought about the Puluz Freebreath mask (model PU251g).
It only takes a second to attach the snorkel of the Puluz, the only problem is that we can’t hear or feel it click into place. But it’s definitely firmly attached.
The mask with elastic straps fits comfortably on your face in spite of the ridges in the silicone edge. This isn’t a problem once you’re in the water, provided you’ve got the right size. If the mask is just a bit too small for your face, you can definitely feel the ridges.
The mask does fog up slightly, but it’s not a hindrance and the purge valve works well. Make sure you’ve positioned the mask properly on your face otherwise water will continue to seep in while you are snorkeling. All in all, this is a fairly good mask.
