Snorkeling masks 2019 – Ocean Reef ARIA QR

Full-face snorkel masks are available in all shapes and sizes. This is what the DuikeninBeeld testing team thought about the OCEAN REEF Aria QR mask.

The new model of the Aria full-face snorkel mask.
Just like the “standard” Aria, the Aria QR also has a sturdy, reliable and professional look. Attaching and detaching the snorkel was easier than with many other masks we tested and also appears to be a more durable method.

By adding clips to the bottom (QR = quick release), the mask strap may be unclicked, making this mask even easier to put on than the original version. You can rotate the clips but once the straps are in the right position, they are “locked” and can’t slide or slip out of position. The top of the straps are attached a bit higher than on the original ARIA Classic which is designed to improve wearing comfort. We found it a comfortable fit.

This became quickly clear in the water: this is the tried and tested Ocean Reef technology. The snorkel mask forms a good seal, is comfortable and doesn’t fog up. The breathing comfort is excellent and the purge valve works fast and efficiently.

This is a snorkel mask with nothing but positives, according to the testing team!

Happy snorkeling!
