Snorkeling mask test: October Moon
DuikeninBeeld tested a series of snorkeling masks. These are the results for the October Moon mask.
First impressions and usage
The snorkel on the October Moon Blue L/XL is easy to attach and detach. The mask is easy to put on, but if the straps were longer, it would make adjusting the mask even easier. The fit is good and the mask has a large field of vision. Breathing through the snorkel is easy, but the mask does fog up.
The seal is good underwater during snorkeling, doing a surface dive and swimming, and though there is a slight distortion of the view, it’s minimal. Unfortunately the mask also fogs up underwater and this is a real shame, because otherwise, the mask performs the way it was designed to.
