Full-face snorkel masks are available in all shapes and sizes. This is what the DuikeninBeeld testing team thought about the Subea Easybreath mask.

The Subea Easybreath always scores high in our tests. Although the manufacturer says that small improvements have been made to last year’s model, we didn’t notice any. Our opinion still stands: this is a good snorkel mask.

The snorkel is easy to attach and detach and it is a sturdy product; you don’t get the feeling you’ll break part of it. The snorkel is fairly wide which makes the whole mask somewhat bulky, but it looks solid.

The elastic straps are easy to adjust even when you’re wearing the mask. The wearing comfort is good, as is the breathing comfort.

The mask is available in different sizes and our testers tried these out. The mask doesn’t fog up and is comfortable provided you have the right size.
The Subea snorkel mask keeps a good seal even if you move your face around. The purge valve works fast; it only takes a second to drain the mask.

There’s not much else to say about it; the Subea snorkel mask is still one of the best snorkel masks.

If you plan to buy a snorkel mask, try it on first and better yet, try it before you buy it.

Happy snorkeling!
