Snorkeling mask test: Tribord Easybreath

DuikeninBeeld tested a series of snorkeling masks. These are the results for the Tribord Easybreath mask.

First impressions and usage
The snorkel on the Tribord Easybreath is easy to attach and detach. It has sturdy wide elastic straps that are easy to adjust and have solid stitching. The mask fits well and the silicone edge is soft. Breathing through the snorkel is easy, but the mask has a heavy, awkward appearance – reliable but bulky.

The mask keeps a good seal during snorkeling, doing a surface dive and swimming underwater, and has a fairly large field of vision. The dry top doesn’t work very quickly, however.

Score for important features – 1-5, with 1 being poor and 5 good

Attaching/detaching snorkel: 4
Comfort while putting mask on and removing it: 4
Comfort while wearing mask: 4

Conclusion
Although it is a bit heavy and the dry top is somewhat slow, this is otherwise a good mask.
