DuikeninBeeld tested a series of snorkeling masks. These are the results for the Scubamax White mask.

First impressions and usage
The size of the Scubamax White L/XL mask may only be found on the packaging, and tends to run large. The snorkel is easy to attach and detach, as long as your fingernails are long enough.

The mask is easy to put on and is adjustable, but the elastic strap doesn’t look very durable. Single stitching is used to finish the ends, so they don’t seem very sturdy.
The mask squeezes your face, so it’s not very comfortable and also fogs up immediately.

The mask also fogs up during snorkeling, doing a surface dive or swimming underwater, but the field of vision is good before this happens. Another pretty important feature is that the mask doesn’t leak. Horizontal swimming can cause the snorkel to close sometimes, which is not very desirable in this position.

Score for important features – 1-5, with 1 being poor and 5 good

Conclusion
Decent mask but the squeezing and fogging prevent it from being a great mask.
